Florence Airport is fully equipped with all facilities that the arriving and departing passengers require. These facilities also include sufficient parking areas with low cost. There are two terminals at the Florence Airport, one terminal building is dedicated to departures and the other to arrivals. Both terminal buildings serve domestic and international flights. Approximately two million passengers, both domestic and international, pass through the Florence Airport annually.

Car parking areas at the Florence Airport offers both long term and short term parking facilities. Depending upon the duration of parking period, the passengers can choose any of the short and long term parking areas to park their vehicles. The long term parking area is equipped with 640 parking spaces. However, the short term parking area has only 90 parking spaces.

The short term parking area is ideal for those motorists coming to the Florence Airport for just dropping the passengers, and offloading the luggage or picking up someone. By doing so, the motorists can save money as the first 20 minutes of parking duration are free of charge at short term parking area. The short term parking area is located very close to the arrivals and departures areas of the Florence Airport. If the customer parks the vehicles for more than 20 minutes than 2 Euros are charged for first hour of the parking duration and 3 Euros for the second hour. However, 24 Euros are charged on per day basis at the short term parking area.

Parking a vehicle for few days at long term parking area is cheaper as compared to the short term parking area. The long term parking area is located directly opposite to the short term parking lot and the terminal buildings are also very close to it. At the long term parking area 1 Euro is charge for first five hours of the parking duration and for six to twelve hours of parking duration 6 Euros are charged. However, 10 Euros are charged on per day basis at the long term parking area.
